Solazur "Lapisum" bracelet --- Artistic. Beautiful. Different.
In a blue mood lately? :-)
Combining this gorgeous bluish stone with copper is another way for me to express my love for making copper jewelry. I simply adore how amazing copper compliments this stone. It gives the jewelry piece an elegant look with a noble vibe. And blue is known as a color that calms the mind. We can't go wrong wearing blue these days, especially in the winter times.
I used just two tubular stones, to keep the bracelet its sleek and minimalist look. The Lapis Lazuli being the style part of the design, still in perfect balance with copper. That is why I added the larger copper bead in the center.
Bracelet made with:
= solid copper beads (4mm and 8mm)
= two Lapis Lazuli stone tubular bead
= on high quality durable stretch cord
Lapis Lazuli looks like the night sky. This stone quickly releases stress, bringing inner peace. It harmonizes the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. It it said this stone has many healing properties, one of them being that its energy can help one alleviate migraine headaches.
Lapis lazuli, also known simply as "lapis," is a blue metamorphic rock that has been used as a sculpting material, pigment for painting colour and jewelry material for thousands of years.
Ultramarine blue made from Lapis Lazuli is one of the few natural pigments with a permanent and vivid blue color, good opacity, and high stability. Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) used ultramarine to paint The Starry Night in 1889. The oil on canvas painting is considered to be one of his best works.
Copper is one of the two* gifts for the 7th year of wedding anniversary. (*the other material is wool)
Copper is an unusually good conductor of electricity and heat. It has anti-inflammatory properties and has been used in jewelry making since antiquity. And is also my favorite metal to work with. :-)
Every item is made to order. I make each bracelet myself, making sure all beads are free of defect and I double check that all is good prior to be shipped to its owner.
Copper has a vintage look, once its shine reaches its mature glow (due to a process called oxidation).
It will NOT turn green. I need to mention this as some might assume that. :-)
Remember, copper's beauty is all in its vintage warmth glow. It is not gold, therefore, love its uniqueness.
